How to make the gachapon machine

In order to make you experience the Japanese gachapon at 100%, we did our best to make a small gachapon machine with the cardboard of your CapsuleBox! On this page, you will find some explanations to help you to make this machine, as best as possible!

Information to take in consideration before making your machine:

1 / This machine is not perfect. We did our best to make the machine as successful as possible with a lot of constraints.

2 / This machine is a bonus and is not part of the "CapsuleBox" product itself. If the condition of your box does not allow you to realize this machine, we will not be able to send you a new one.

3 / The machine only works with the smallest gachapon (5 cm).

Enjoy your gachapon !

Step 1: Take the parts out of cartons

In your box is a plastic bag containing cardboard parts. Start by taking them out of the plastic.

In this photo, we have named each part with letters for the rest of the guide. A, B, C, D, E and F!

Step 2: Flip the carton

This step is the simplest, simply dismount the box, then remake it backwards!

Your box already looks like a small gachapon machine!

Step 3: Cutting

In this step, cut out the exit hole of the gachapon, as well as the location of the crank.

Be careful not to hurt yourself while cutting ;)!

Step 4: Folding and mounting the interior

In this step, it is necessary to fold the parts A, B, C which constitute the skeleton of the machine, then to place them in the box!

Step 5: Fitting the crank

This is the most difficult step to achieve, the assembly of the crank.

At first, fold each piece of cardboard D well so that it is easier to handle. Then do the same folds as on the video!

Step 6: Place the last elements

In this step, simply place the crank and gachapon in the box!

Step 6 bis (optional)

As a bonus, for your machine to work at (almost) every shot, you can cut a fairly rigid piece of paper and fold it as on the video to make a pusher.

This will push the capsules to the outlet and improve the operation of the machine!
