Last Shipping Information (July 1, 2022 Update)

A few weeks after the suspension of Japan Post airmail shipments to most European countries, here is a little update to keep you informed about the situation!
We are working tirelessly to be able to send the boxes as soon as possible! The good news is that box shipments should resume in this month (June)! We will make a more specific announcement as soon as possible. Here's some info though:
- All remaining March, April & May boxes are currently being prepared to be shipped in July
- June and July's box will be shipped in July
- We hope to resume the normal rhythm of shipments in August
As previously announced, we will not be changing the price of the boxes at this time and we are not charging an additional fee for sending back boxes. We will continue to do everything in this direction! We still have a lot of work to do in order to resume shipments calmly, we will try to keep you informed as much as possible! ;)

1) Temporary suspension of shipments to Europe (March 2022 update)
a) General information
Due to the current sad events in Ukraine, Japan Post has just announced the temporary suspension of airmail shipments to most countries in Europe. Indeed, the majority of flights between Japan and Europe being temporarily canceled, the number of planes is therefore no longer sufficient to ensure shipments.
We are therefore currently unable to ship the boxes with the usual method. The only shipping method still offered by Japan Post is "Surface Mail", by boat with delays of 6 to 12 weeks. We are working to find solutions to send the boxes as soon as possible.
The situation is fortunately temporary and shipments should return, although we have no date yet. Everything will depend on how events develop in Europe. The boxes are ready and will leave as soon as possible.
Subscriptions are still open. Any box ordered will be sent as soon as possible.

List of countries to which shipments are temporarily suspended:
Andorra, United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey, Germany, Finland, France, Isle of Man, Monaco
Important note for Germany : March boxes (NihonBox only, not UmaiBox and CapsuleBox) for Germany have been shipped before the suspension (you should get the confirmation email soon). We are still able to ship to Austria and Luxembourg.
